Zenergy’s mFCLs are devices that protect electrical equipment in the distribution and transmission infrastructure from damaging power surges (fault currents).
Covering a wide range of voltages and using well understood electromagnetic physics and using no superconducting components, they are virtually invisible in an electrical network under normal loads, but instantly increase their impedance to become resistive during the 1st peak as a fault tries to pass through – returning to their low impedance state the instant the current returns to its steady state.  There is no recovery period necessary so they can handle multiply faults in succession. read more …
